The right time for pregnancy
Pregnancy is a challenging time for many women, but it can also be an exciting time of looking forward to the events that lie ahead. It can be the most wonderful thing that can happen with you if you are looking forward to it. Pregnancy with the first baby may require more preparation to deal with your pregnancy. Sometimes, you may get confused by many changes in your body. When time goes by, you will soon get used to it and feel more comfortable with your pregnancy.
Am I too old for pregnancy?
Generally, women should anticipate in pregnancy cycle when they reach the reproductive age. Some women start ovulating at the age of 10 year old or even earlier. This implies that women’s body release eggs and fertilized when meet with the men’s sperm. However, biological aspect of 10 year old girls is still too young to have babies. Getting pregnant at this age is too risky for them as their reproductive systems are still in the process of forming. Typically, women are perfectly ready for pregnancy when they are at the ages of 18 to 35. This age group of women will have the bodies that are strong enough to reproduce without having too many problems. If you are over 35 years old, pregnancy may consider as risky for the mother as it is for your baby. Some experts stated that pregnant women with the age over 35 may be suffering from some age related problems that in turn could affect the baby.
However, many experts also believe that the aging process of women’s body is not the same. They believe that healthy women with the age over 35 can still conceive and have healthy babies. Many women started ovulating early whereas some women started ovulating late. Women, generally, who began ovulating early and were having unhealthy lifestyle are considered of higher risk for having baby with birth defects. On the other hand, women who began ovulating late may still be able to conceived and go through pregnancy easily without many troubles. Some women in their 40’s, in fact, are still in very good health and are still able to give birth healthily.
