Stages of pregnancy
There are, typically, three stages of pregnancy which each called trimester. Each trimester will last about thirteen weeks. Pregnant women experience things and symptoms differently in each trimester as babies also go through different growing cycles in each trimester.
What can you expect?
During your pregnancy, there are differences things happening and they are varied in each stage of pregnancy. The first trimester of pregnancy have lots of mixing emotions including happiness of knowing that you are pregnant, worrying about think that lie ahead, experiencing early signs of pregnancy like morning sickness, and so on. It should be noted that this stage is very important in which major vital organs of your baby will begin developing. During this period, you should see your doctor as it is scheduled and often as needed to ensure that your baby has the right healthy development. Any complications can generally be developed during this stage. Thus, it is very essential that you are very careful on what you do including eating and drinking good things, no smoking and get lots of sleep since your body is changing and baby is developing in your uterus.
The second trimester of pregnancy stage is usually a great time for pregnant women. Morning sickness will go away. You can feel the baby move and have begun to look pregnant. You may experience backache or headaches which is normal symptoms occurring during this period. At this stage, the baby continues to grow with development of hard bones. Again, you need to get plenty of rest, drinking lots of clean water, and continue to eat healthy. A light exercise can also be started for some pregnant women who have not done any exercises at this time.
The third trimester is the last of the stages of pregnancy. At this stage, you are full of emotions which are mixing and anxious feeling about the new arrival of your baby. Tons of questions might come up in your mind. Can you be a parent? Are you ready to have baby? What will the baby look like? How can you raise the baby? Anyhow, your body will be physically ready to give birth at the end. You will experience more feeling of fatigue and discomfort as well increased urination. Also, you may feel Braxton hick’s contractions when you get closer to the delivery date.
The three stages of pregnancy mentioned above can be use as some guidelines for pregnant women in which can help them prepare and be ready in advance.
